Thanks to everyone who joined us for our October tech lunch! We enjoyed eating delicious Mexican food, connecting with our fellow team members, and listening to informative and inspiring presentations given by some of our colleagues.
First, Shawn Duffy and Tyler Busby gave us an update on the latest business intelligence work they’ve been doing for one of our clients. Their custom analytics solution has been vastly improving the agility, flexibility and speed in which critical data is consolidated, processed, and reported.
Then, Sean Murphy and Jim Barntish presented the results of their AWS vs. Azure SMACKDOWN! They compared feature sets, ease of implementation, costs and cool factor. Each provider’s offerings were highlighted. Both providers are evolving their platform, with new and exciting features coming online weekly. Such a dynamic and fast-paced evolution made determining an overall “winner” very difficult. As always, Axian’s resources maintain a keen edge with both providers, enabling us to provide the best-fit solution for our clients with respect to their specific needs.
