The Nike Asia Pacific region spans 13 countries and countless employees, suppliers, and vendors. Infor-mation sharing across such a broad collection of people and places was a daunting task. Aside from the resolving geographic and technical challenges, there was also a need to revamp how revenue data was accessed from the SAP Business Warehouse System.
Enter Axian and its Business Intelligence team. In close collaboration with Nike, Axian developed a graphical reporting dashboard to allow AP’s senior leadership team a vis-ual way to track and analyze revenue forecasts. The team utilized its best practice knowledge and framework to extract large amounts of data and transform it into meaningful information.

A variety of benefits were realized from the project:

  • Accurate revenue projections - the executive dashboard summarizes future orders and revenue growth rates by region and category.
  • Cost savings - automation reduces need for extensive analyst efforts manually building spreadsheet reports.

Through the application of Axian’s BI processes, Nike achieved the highly sought “one version of the truth” by eliminating multi-ple reporting sources and instituting data validation.
